I have a question,

I recently bought a laptop from Dell... it came to me faulty, they had 3 attempts at repairing it over the last 2 months but it keeps coming up with the same fault (hard drive not found)

I have now requested a replacement which they have agreed to,,

However!!!

They are telling me that the replacement will take up to 30 days??? and when it comes it will not come with a full warranty, they will transfer the warranty from the none working system to the new one??

Is this even legal, I paid for a system with a 1 year warranty but due to the fact they sent me a faulty laptop then spent the 2 months trying to fix it, and now they are saying 30 days for replacement, total 3 months, if they transfer the warranty it this means by the time I finally get the fully working system I paid for it will only have 9 months left on the warranty rather than the full year through no fault of my own!!!! surely this can not be right???
