Resources for a startup

I am currently developing an idea for a start-up business manufacturing a product, more specifically machinery. Just wondering if there are any resources (books, journals etc.) that will help with this as after designing and producing the concept on CAD I am unsure on how to progress this idea further successfully? Thanks.

Hi have you thought about getting it manufactured overseas? It may work out more economical and allow you to create a product at a more competitive price to sell. We have helped a number of businesses manufacture their designs in China.

Sounds like you are better seeking a partner who can create what you have designed, maybe try a few local engineering companies and see if they can point you in the right direction.
