If I were to buy some products, lets say some t-shirts, and then I was to resell them is that legal. Also if I decided to and I removed the manufacturer labels from the t-shirts and applied my own before reselling them, is this also legal.

If not what would I have to do.

Thanks in advance.

Retailing is buying a product for one price and selling it on again for another. Look at supermarkets etc.... so I cannot see why what you want to do is illegal. Regarding your other question about putting your own label on then I am sure that also goes on as well. I would not imagine that to be illegal provided you do not mislead your customer. i.e swapping made in China labels for made in the UK labels. That is how I would view things anyway

If some famous brands with luxurious prices, there will be some illegal problems on selling with their original labels without their authorization. Replacing your own labels might avoid these problems...

If some nameless brands with cheap prices, usually there will be no big legal problem. While replacing your own labels could improve your products higher class, and help build up your own brand image to your customers...

No matter famous brands with luxurious prices, or nameless brands with cheap prices, replacing your own labels is a good idea I think.

This is all legal, as far as I'm concerned. Imagine if the first one was illegal, eBay and Amazon would be very short of products haha.

As for the second one, as long as you don't put false information, trying to sell off a Primark shirt as a Next shirt etc and ensure all product information is correct, such as where it is made etc then you should be fine.

In my opinion, For the goods of famous brands with luxurious prices, there need be a resource:
1. From the brands'authorization, with original labels and package: getting goods from the brands as their agent, neither easy nor low cost...legal totally
2. From the redundant quantity from the brands' original factory, without labels and package or with part of labels or package while fabric and workmanship exact same, (for fear fabric waste during the production, there is usually some redundant fabric forecast prepared, but labels and tags never any redundant quantity)...such goods between illegal to legal, depends on how exact the labels and package as the original
3. From goods of copy brands, with copy(original) labels and package, copy(original) fabric and workmanship...the copy goods quality various, some copy bad for low price market, some copy excellent for higher market, but no matter the quality is, even 100% same as the original brands, illegal totally .
