Hello, thanks for letting me join!

I am a third year university student and I am undertaking research for my dissertation project. If possible, would like to post in the General Business Forum asking if people would be kind enough to complete an anonymous online survey (takes circa 10 minutes). For added information, I am researching why the Police struggle to engage with businesses, micro and small-sized businesses in particular, with regard to their cyber security and cyber resilience advice and training resources. Would this be allowed?

Many thanks!

It is permitted however there have already been a couple of cybersecurity surveys so you might not get many useful replies. Also worth noting that most surveys contain questions many businesses are unable to answer. This is usually because the creator hasn’t considered the huge variance of business types and operations.

Why would the Police engage with business over this, they have their patch and management have theirs, there are millions of businesses in the UK both large and tiny is it the police job to contact them all
Just as part of larger crime prevention advice. Cybercrime is a growing problem, whether from phishing attacks through to malware and ransomware, and it has been part of government strategy for the Police to offer advice and some basic training to help make businesses more resilient to these threats.
