Hi all,

Currently doing a bit of research on the market I want to enter, which is consumer merchandise. Had a look on www.statistics.gov.uk and www.bpma.co.uk but didn't really find much of what I was looking for. Anyone one recommend any other websites or other sources on where to gather some useful market information?

What information are you seeking specifically?

Numbers mainly. I want to get an idea of how big the market is in the UK firstly, then possibly Europe if I think I can handle it.

I know who the big players are and have been looking at their accounts etc on company check. Anymore advice on where to get more info on them would be great too though.

Try the business centre at the British Library.

You could use google adwords for keyword searches. This will give you global and local search volumes.
