Renting a shop...

Hi,
You will have to sign a lease agreement usually, to rent a shop (renting terms), most leases run for 6 years, with a 3 yr rent review. You usually have a solicitor to check this before signing. You will still have to insure the contents of the shop, the landlord normally takes care of building insurance. Our last lease agreement cost us about £1000 in solicitors fees. Our insurance for contents was £67 per month!
