Regulation process for a beverage

Hi there,

I'm in the process of importing a new health drink over from the USA.

As this drink hasn't passed any of the UK/EU regulatory approval. What is the procedure to pass all regulations and get this product viable for the UK market? Who do I contact? etc.
Will I physically need the product to send off for testing or can i forward over ingredients and nutritional facts?

Hi Marcus,

I was wondering if you managed to figure out best way to get a beverage approved for the UK? We're considering producing one here in the UK but I'm still wondering if we need some kind of approval.
