Registering sub companies within a parent company at Companies House

Good afternoon.
Is it possible to register a parent company at Companies House and then register sub companies within? I am struggling to find answers online.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first step is to form the holding compnay with you as shareholder and director.

When that process is complete you create subsidiary 1.

The holding company will be the shareholder and should appoint you as the director
