Hi all

I use my home address as the registered office address for my company though I do not work from home other than to occassionally do some bookkeeping and other admin.

Does using my home address as the registered office address have any implications on capital gains tax if i chose to sell my home?

Thanks in advance for any help!

Thanks!

I only claim the huge amount of £3 pw in relation to reimbursement of costs like stationary, light/heat etc - I presume thats ok?

Hi,

The £3 a week claim (for which supporting records are not required) needs to be paid to you by your employer and not deducted by you from your employment income in your tax return otherwise more stringent rules apply. The homeworking arrangements also need to be regular and not occasional as your first post implies.

As others have said, there are no CGT implications.

In addition, costs such as stationery are not included in the £3 a week household expense allowance and provided they are incurred solely for business purposes can also be claimed.

Regards,
Gary
