Does anyone have any recommendations for a company that can offer a registered office & service address at a fair price?

My accountant does not offer this service.

My business is 100% digital so I should only require official HMRC/companies house mail being forwarded or scanned.

Some googling so far:

yourcompanyformations = £57/year
rapidformations = £65/year
informdirect = £68?/year
companyaddress = £70/year
companiesmadesimple = £100/year

Would love to hear any recommendations or which to avoid.

Thanks.

Well you could find an accountant who does offer the services you require, but any reason why you don't want to use your own address.

Many reasons..

We live in 2021 where our personal data is being gathered by companies for profit - we have to fight for our privacy these days. A lot of identity thefts are thanks to Companies House displaying everything necessary including complete D.O.B. (now changed to remove the day).

When owning a digital business I feel it's always a good idea to separate your personal and business lives when possible.

Being doxxed is a real threat these days - There are some people out there whether they are disgruntled ex-customers or competitors in the industry that can cause all sorts of problems just by having someone's address. SWATTING has been a thing for years for example.

So having my personal details like name, address, D.O.B. on a public register for anyone to see makes me uneasy to say the least!

I'm all for business owner accountability and transparency to some extent but not in favour of the current system.

I do like my accountant so i'd prefer to retain them and just pay separately for the address from elsewhere.

    The company that sponsors some of UKBF provides this service, and I know the firm and know they do look after their clients well.

    The do offer a scan-2-email service for the email too for any post received if I recall correctly.

    I agree with you on this too! One size don’t fit all. But it’s wise to keep the two seperate. There are numerous businesses offer the service but just need to be aware that any goods returned policies are clear and don’t end up sent to the virtual address which could hit your profits.

    They already are. There are all sorts of services where you can pay to look up someones details. If someone wants to find you it's not difficult.
