Refused a phone contract

I had to give up the 3 phone I had as it didn't pick up in my house, this turned out to be more of a problem than I thought.

I applied for a contract with Vodafone and heard today I didn't get it:

Unfortunately we have been unable to verify yourself and/or your place of residence using our external verification systems. Although you may disagree with this outcome, it is company policy to base our decision on the data we are provided by the recognised agencies we work with, and all decisions are final.

This happens every now and then as some of my credit history is in the house name and some the number (it's a Welsh name so easier sometimes to just give the number, now I know better)

The email linked me to their credit reference people that gave me a score of 875.

Any idea what I can do, it is mobiles.co.uk a division of Carphone Warehouse.

Yeah I know all decisions are final but worth a different approach maybe?

Hi i used to work for vodafone as a business account manager and seen this happen all the time, how did you apply? What i heard people were doing was just going into a store with the relevant id, pick a phone and the agent sets it all up there and them as they are on commission and only to happy to get the sale.
