Anyone know of what i can do with a continuous source of thin polyester sheet, its coated with a micro cover of silicone but basically polyester.

Its on rolls about 500mm wide and 25m long with a steel core. I know we can cash in the cores but that means un-spooling the polyester on them.

Have tried a few depots but none interested and dont want to landfill it.

Polymer recycling always means that the polymeric material was already transformed, somehow, into
semi-finished or end products and will be reused for production of similar or identical products. When
recycling polyethylene terephthalate or PET or polyester, two ways generally have to be differentiated:
A: The chemical recycling back to the initial raw materials purified terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl
terephthalate (DMT) and mono ethylene glycol (MEG) where the polymer structure is destroyed
completely, or in process intermediates like bis-ß-hydroxyterephthalate
B: The mechanical recycling where the original polymer properties are being maintained or
reconstituted.

I am guessing you are either a chemical analyst or have discovered Wiki quotes are an easy way to increase your forum post count. How about offering some real information or at least put "Wiki" in the quote??
