I have kept a log of my business miles which I now want to add to my personal loan account in Quickbooks ( I don't want to actually withdraw the cash yet, just record it as money owed to me which I will then take as a repayment of directors loan in the future). Can anyone advise the correct way of recording this?
I have an account called "Directors loan - Glenn"
Would it be to write a cheque from the bank account "Directors loan - Glenn" payable to Glenn and in the notes put fuel expenses September 09?
