For the accountants out there, could you recommend me some books that you found useful? Any books that you might use now while working or that you were using while you were in the process of becoming an accountant.

I used and use so many different reference books - what aspect of accountancy do you want to read up on?

There is a lot more to becoming an accountant than reading one or two books. Training takes at least three years and usually includes on the job learning, reading and attending classes.

What are you trying to do? Train to be an accountant or do your own accounts?

The best method to find all information is to find someone who has appeared for ACA/ICAEW/ICAS exams and get a copy of their study guides.
