Hey guys, basically just looking for recommendations on FREE software to do my book keeping on; for my business in which I run an Ebay shop.

would really appreciate the help!

VT cashbook is free and very good but for someone running an Ebay shop I'd highly recommend a package that imports data from PayPal it generally saves a huge amount of time. You have lots of choice but I particularly like Accounts Portal. The small cost will probably pay for itself many times over.

We use Payroo.com that is free as long as you are a small company. Works very well.

Hi William - isnt that just payroll software?

If you want something completely free try bright books. It's online software too which means that you can access it from anywhere. I recommend it to all my clients who don't want to pay. On the downside it is basic, like others I think you should get one you pay for. They don't cost much, I always use online software and my favourite at the moment is Clearbooks.

Hope that helps.

I've been thinking of giving this one a go, which promises to be always free:

    Anyone here tried it?

It seems to be American. That means that it won't handle VAT (which might not be an issue now) but it might have other US only features that may be irrelevant. The terminology will also be American - no bad thing in many cases as Payables and Receiveables are more meaningful than debtors and creditors, But what do they mean by stock? Inventory? just to name a couple.
