Reclaim SMP

Hi

Hello, I'm pulling my hair out trying to understand how to reclaim statutory maternity pay. Am I right that as a small employer I am entitled to reclaim 103% of the statutory maternity pay from HMRC?

I'm readying some sources which suggest that as there is not NI to offset against (being a 2 employee business), I would have to wait until end of the tax year to reclaim all the SMP - others say I can get the SMP reimbursed within 10 days?
