Receiving Invoices

Hi,

I am looking at ways to make the process of receiving and entering invoices easier. It seams quite outdated to receive a paper invoice and manually enter this on our accounts package (SAGE) Are there any automated services we may take advantage of? If the company emails their invoice in a CSV file which can then be imported?

Hi @DariusCool,

Check out Autoentry.com - They allow SMEs to scan invoices and have them pushed into their account package. I think they only cater for Sageone at the moment but it's worth having a look.

I'm also co-founder of a new invoicing tool called Solna. We're in the process of beta testing the product and we have a .csv import tool, which right now is stand alone but we could create an integration with accounting packages if there was demand. Fancy taking a look and providing feedback?

Hi Mak,

Am not sure how much help I would be as I don't do the data entry itself. We use SAGE 50 and we can import .CSV files but am not sure if our suppliers can send it any other way than they are now? I can certainly ask some questions if you would like as it would be mutually beneficial

OCR Apps like Autoentry, Concur, Click2Scan, etc seems like the way to go for you.
