reasonable international parcel quote

I need a parcel delivered to the Ukraine, I have been searching for a quote but as yet have failed to find a reasonable quote. Overall it's about 6kg of stuff. I could send it as one box or split it. I tried to use parcel monkey but they only seem to offer an express service, I only need a regular service. Ironically surface via Royal Mail is more expensive than air??

Any ideas??
