Yes, that is true. In search results I find that some websites with PR1 are much higher than websites with PR5.

Thanks a lot for this. It's a great bit of insight and it can be baffling when a client pressures the rankings and ignores the usability on their site.

SEO, web design and web development must go hand in hand. If you take one aspect away the website will suffer. A good conversion rate can only come from this, so people have to get their site right first, before even thinking about rankings.

Common sense to a Pro SEO, but just look at this forum its full of questions like this, so not really that common sense IMO
