Boris' No 10 holding parties on the eve of the Duke of Edinburgh' funeral...
Chinese Spy infiltrates Parliament...
Senior Royal loses titles...

Reflecting on my time in publishing, albeit at the point of the arrow, in advertising - bringing in revenue to keep the journalists in a job - and I can't recall a day when so many headline stories hit the front page at once? With such a feeding frenzy of activity tabloid hacks are probably only having to work a couple of hours a day instead of the usual 4 ;)

On a positive note these do at least keep the Daily Express front page free of filler headlines about Heatwaves, Floods, Property price booms and falls and James Argents latest expose about former beau Gemma Collins!

Maybe we need a sweepstake on when Boris goes, and another on who will replace him. I cannot imagine anyone wanting the post. I don't feel there are any compelling candidates on either side of the house.
I suspect form the labour comments in the house asking if Rishi saw what was happening next door, that Labour fear him most and so are trying to embroil him in the issue hoping some mud sticks

That tends to be the norm, and probably is the most likely candidate. Can't imagine Labour wanting an election for a while, better to be the opposition whilst a shit storm is going on.

I wanted to come up with something witty to reply to @Lucan Unlordly OP post but couldn't, it really is quite the week for front page news. Also couldn't thing of what could be brewing for the weekend but we don't have to wait long, something will come along.
