Great idea. To expend your business into Australia. But the UK sells more to Australia then to India or china, and Australia is UK's 5th largest market for goods outsides the EU. The UK and Australia are politically and economically linked.

What is the bare minimum that is required for a UK company to trade in Australia and own a .au.com domain??

We wish to expand over there, but would keep production etc. in the UK so really just need the domain, and company bits that are required.
