Question about leaflet distribution

Hi guys,

Just a quick question while I'm doing some research for my new business: what do you think the average is for the amount paid to leaflet droppers per 1000/5000 leaflets delivered?

e.g. what do companies normally pay to have their leaflets/menus etc delivered to 1000/5000 homes?

5000 delivered for £169+ VAT I see advertised in local papers.

We paid £10 per 500 leaflets to be distributed with National and local newspapers at a few different local newsagents.

Anyone offering cheap flyer delivery i.e sub £50 per thousand is making no money or doing multiple flyers per drop. Depending on a location a distributor may only be able to deliver 600 -800 flyers per shift.

Yes, I'm thinking of doing that for maybe the first few drops, then looking into getting someone .

A kid was distributing leaflets on my road not too long ago. He was placing them on the front driveways.
