I have questions about importing goods to the UK from China.
First. I am a student living in the UK and I would like to know the laws of trade for someone like me, if I can import goods as a personal , not as a commercial and selling it by any way such as ebay.
I mean here a large amount in the range of 100 to 200 pieces. for example, xenon kit.

My inquiry is, whether custom will prevent the entry of my goods, and that because I'm not dealers and I don't have trading license, or that I have just to pay the VAT and customs duty only. :|

you need find a UK company with import licence, it's not difficult.
Then you can contact a Chinese trade company or find a EU trade company to help you on trading handlings, you just need to tell them what the products and the price you expected.
Then you will receive products at home or in the UK import company. Because you know all prices, transportation expense, hanlding charge, tax....from China to UK, and you are contacting all people relating to the trading matters. You can get profit more than just buy products from Import companies. And you also can sellect the design and styles you like.

Do not forget that having too many middlemen will make your price too high and you will not be competitive on the market. You find a UK company with import licence - 1st middleman who will take some money. EU trade company - 2nd middleman who will not do anything for free. Still UK importer will have to pay VAT when importing = you will pay it as well. Remember that you will have to pay for the services you receive ant it makes your product more expensive.

Regarding the import duty and VAT just ask a local freight forwarder in the UK. they will tell you all you need to know at this stage.
