Purchasing from China

Hi,

For my business, I need to import a custom product from China. Product is costing 153 USD and shipping is costing 109 USD.

And there is not any producer in UK. I must order from them. But up to now, I never deal with customs.

I have an EORI number which I got 3 years ago. What should I do? Which documents do I need to prepare?

Could you help please?

Or do you know any agency which can deal with this kind small amount orders?

Dont worry about it, just ask a UK based Freight Forwader to quote from factory address to your delivery address, including dealing with customs.

Any reputable UK freight forwarder will be able to take care of all of this for you. Would suggest you choose a BIFA registered one.

Given the amounts quoted, the probability is that the parcel will be sent by an international courier who will take care of all the details.

There shouldn’t be any need to use a UK forwarder for this shipment if it’s being sent by courier.

You can simply use DHL or FedEx which has quick customs clearance channel, so you do not need to provide complicated documents.
