Protein powder packaging - Matt BOPP18/VMPET12/PE90 ...any experts able to help?

Hi There,

I've been in discussions with many chinese stand up pouch suppliers on alibaba, and I've been advised to use Matt BOPP18/VMPET12/PE90 as the best choice of plastic. Can anybody over here in the UK confirm this at all? I can't seem to find any plastic packaging forums on google.
Or if anyone can point me towards a good plastic packaging resource that would be most appreciated.
