Property search

Hi all, new member - long time lurker around here. Just wondering what everyone's experience were on the commercial property world. When your setting out on a new venture or even expanded your business and need to look at larger premises or dedicated premises, what do you all do to find the property?

Straight to an agent, an on-line property portal? if so, could you name a few?

I'm currently working from home, trying to spin too many plates at once and I'm thinking that it's about time I "set up shop" and get myself some office space - ideally so that I could look to hire 1 or 2 people as well - all being well.

Oddly, I've just finished a website for a client of mine who recently deals in commercial property, so will get some feedback from him too - but wanted to open this up to a much wider audience.

Look forward to your replies.

Hey, FYI: I've just found some office space using business-place.co.uk - quick service and saved a ton of time going over all the properties on egpropertylink

The only way to do a search is to give an email address, then wait for someone to get back to you, much easier to search myself!!!!!

No contact details, no address, no phone number, no business name?????

Much easier if you have the time. Last week I was up against it, had the walls closing in on me, so I outsourced my search... I now have 4 options and appointments to view sorted.

From searching for a house to rent, I was constantly disappointed when I found out that it wasn't available because the site was out of date, or some other reason. I kinda thought it would be the same issue with commercial, and with the lack of time too, it was an easy option for me.

Seems to be a fair amount of sensitivity today.

Not sensitive, just smells a little like self promotion :)
