Promoting my website through articles

I

Hi, your thoughts on the following please.

I have just got my second website which sells evening bags. In terms of moving up on google, am I better to keep articles on my site to add content or submit them to article publishing sites and get the back links?
If I submit lots of fashion related articles, will I still be able to link to a bag website? Will google read them as a good back link?
If articles are downloaded, how do I know that the link has not been removed?

Each question you have asked is about seo/web site marketing, not about e-commerce, so you are in the wrong section. Please PM the mods and ask them to move it so you can get some good advice from people who specialise in that area.

To get you started, submit the articles you publish on your site to article publishing sites, not one or the other.

Can anyone else recommend any good article submission websites?
No. Do it yourself so you control where the articles are submitted. As soon as you use a submission site you lose control over what goes where.

Even better, don't submit any articles. Host them yourself and get all the benefits.

In this case, you must write an original article of your own, unique article content. It will build more traffic to your site. And then you use SEO strategies such as the following:

*Press Release
*Online Groups
*Article Submission
*Links Echange

So that you can get more back links.;)

you can try uknewsx.com , ezineaticles.org.uk , usnewsx.com articlesbase.in
Well you can if you want to waste your time. What is the point in submitting to asrticles site that nobody visits and rank so poorly?

on the contary, article sites are very effective for site promotion and greatly assisit in backlink building ;-)
Artilces on your own site are even better for site promotion. Google knows all labout article submission and will therefore reduce the value of the inbound links so as to make them almost worthless.

There are article sites worth submitting to but those that have found them are not telling, no point in giving away all your secrets.
