A brief background :
I currently run a small coffee shop from our village pub. I pay a monthly rent which includes the premises and the coffee machine, ( I am responsible for the service and upkeep of this machine). I also supply the coffee, milk, crockery etc. If any coffee/tea is sold in the pubs time I get 50p per cup and the landlord keeps the rest which is £2.00. My real question is that I have to pay 12% profit share to my landlord of my gross monthly sales before any wages are paid. Although I have a 3 month rolling contract which I signed, I feel I may have initially been a little naive and should have negotiated. Does this seem a fair contract. I should also mention in the contract is a clause to say that he and his wife are allowed free coffees/teas.
