Our software calculates the profit margin on our Amazon orders, but for orders whereby Amazon charges shipping, the margin is reduced.
For example, Amazon will charge £4.99 shipping, but then deduct the £4.99 in full shown as an Amazon Fee.
The additional £4.99 gets added to our total cost column and also gets added to our total revenue column, but this causes the margin to look bad.
Since this cost is not collected or paid for by us, can anyone suggest how should we handle this charge to stop our profit margins looking bad?
Thanks
