Products on Aliexpress but not Alibaba

Hi everyone, I am just looking to see whether anyone could give me some advice on a couple of things.

I am currently trying to find a supplier in China to import apparels from, but after thorough browsing on Alibaba, there doesn't seem to be a company/manufacturer for the products I need. However, when I search for the same products on Aliexpress, there are quite a few companies selling the products I want, but the thing is, many of them seem to be resellers as they sell the same products with the same images. :|

Is there any way I could locate the manufacturers directly? I've been searching all over the internet in an attempt to find manufacturers, but all to no avail.

I also came across Tmall, and the prices there for the exact same products are even more cheaper than on Aliexpress.

Lastly, I've seen some companies on Aliexpress and Tmall offer custom-made apparels which are made to measure. I want to be able to offer UK customers this made to measure service, but how would I go about doing this? As most of the time, you only see people importing in bulk and not individual custom-made products.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Most the items on aliexpress are from TMall or Taobao in China, and products on aliexpress are more expensive because of the long shipping, TMall or Taobao only offer inland customer, aliexpress in reverse. It's hard for you to find the manufacturers. Most of the products on aliexpress is from Tmall & Taobao. You're right. Some of them are resellers. They import the goods from Tmall or Taobao, then, add their own profit and international express/postage charge. That's why the price on Aliexpress is higher.

If you really want to get cheap price, you need to ask a taobao agent like us to assist you to buy the goods from Tmall or Taobao directly.

Cutom-made apparels are good way for you to try. You can place the order on Aliexpress directly and let them make and send it to you once it finished. For taobao, you can ask your agent to handle all it for you.

You can use the Customized Sourcing service where Alibaba will go away and find up to 10 quotes from genuine, verified and complaint-free suppliers. If you submit a detailed request of what you're looking for, Alibaba will match the best suppliers for the request.

Some Aliexpress members are also Alibaba members so they may be selling at a higher cost because the quantities are lower. If you contact the Aliexpress member to see if they have an Alibaba profile, and you can do some research and check out that supplier.

Tmall is for mainland China users only, but again you can contact the member to see if they have an Alibaba profile and then check out the supplier's details.

China Taobao is a marketplace for directly suppliers in China. Find a taobao agent which could offer cheap price but ensure quality. Shipping is always negotiable on Taobao agents websites. BuyChina would be a good agent for you to buy items from direct suppliers in China.

Not every manufactory is suitable for you.If you make small business,small wholesale may most suitable for you as your quantity can not reach their MOQ,so wholesalers are rational.Manufactoies dont often go on the internet as they are busy with production and dont be worried of their business.Or they dont have such ability like they dont understand internet or English etc...Thats why you can not find lots of direct manufactory in China in the internet.
