HI guys

Does anybody know of a resource i.e. database that offers descriptions of herbs and spices. Either free or paid.

We are setting up a e-commerce website selling nearly 1000 products :( and need descriptions for these, without copyright.

Thanks

If you use 3rd party descriptions they're likely to be very generic and not necessarily an accurate representation. Additionally, if the same text copy is widely used on the internet then search engines will probably see your product pages as duplicates and your search results may suffer in the long term.

The only proper way of approaching this is to write your own descriptions, in your own way, and written for your customers. Ideally hiring a good web copywriter is the best way to go, that will come with the relevent costs, but would give a you a major benefit in the long term.

as blue said above, should write your own, or grab them of your supplier and put your own tint on them, rewrite them as much as possible with keyword density in place.

Buying them is not wise, would be used hundreds if not thousands of times over and you would just be worse off.

Other option would be to hire a content writer who is familier with the industry and products you are selling.
