Problems with packaging supplier - recommendations please

I've spoken to well known 'reputable' packaging suppliers and asked them for samples of some boxes I required. The first company twice said they'd send out the sample but I never received it. The other sent me two of three samples I requested and has yet to send me the third!

I am looking for relatively large (size approx 430mm by 200mm by 40mm) high quality white gift boxes that I plan to use for giftwrapping in my ecommerce business (the boxes will be placed inside more durable postage boxes).

Ideally they will be made from recycled materials or at least fully recyclable. They'd also ideally be flatpack but not essential.

If anyone knows where I might be able to get these, that would be great.

As mentioned in my post I need packaging which is ideally recyclable or at the very least recyclable, hence my post has a green angle and hence why others have posted replies to me here.

I am not throwing this packaging at all my customers, it is available as an option for people who are sending gifts to others, which is likely to be a small number of people.

I don't really want to get into a dialogue about my choice to do this but am keen to hear from people who can genuinely help with my request.

Thanks

Who is saying that the packaging is excessive - is it not prudent to cover quality gift wrapping with a substantial outer protection to withstand the rigours of an overnight parcel system ?

Anyone who has ever spent a few nights at any of the "Hubs" willl know what I mean. ;)

As I understand it,the OP was also asking about optional gift wrapping.

Hi there,
If you're still looking for a reliable packaging supplier please drop me an email and let me know what kind of quantities you're looking for and any particular style of box and I will quote for supplying them.

Kind Regards

Oh God..., there's a company in Norway whom make boxes and car seat covers for second hand Prius cars from baby seals... use them... anyway now we're no longer in the green threads...

That size sounds to me almost like a shoe box, I typed 'flat pack shoebox' into Gobble got Davpack and they at 70p'ish each and also these guys >> http://www.maccarthyandsons.com/PresentationBoxes.htm but no prices. As "Sandiep" has given you, Kevin at KL in Irvine is good at his job and may be able to assist. Like you say presentation is important at high-end level and some tissue etc, scent or even dried herbs / flowers depending upon your product can be very well received and should be accompanied by upsell marketing of some form.

I'm off to recycle some snow. :p
