I have had two deliveries that were sent out before Xmas 2010 & returned to me end of Jan 2011.. I have resent one of them & refunded my customer the other.. I am trying to get my money refunded for non-delivery from Interparcel.. They are refusing!.. Saying one of the customers declined the delivery, Interparcel then changed it to the customer being delivered to didn't contact them quickly enough after posting a card!... So was returned to me.. The other parcel traveled 150 miles, I then had a call from my customer saying that the courier couldn't deliver as it was too heavy!... Even though the depot was 15 miles away!.. So they sent it back to me!... Am I being unreasonable here?.. All I am asking is for a refund on charges not, compensation for lost sales or for taking 5 weeks to get my consignments back!.... Any assistance greatly appreciated...

Welcome to the forum

If they did not perform the contract you should have right to have your charges refunded, Better check their terms and conditions.

I know of another person in another forum who sued Interparcel and won in court over a lost item. They denied liability but they were found liable.

It was in the Consumer Action Group forum. Might be worth doing a google for it.

Interparcel......I avoid like the plague!

Had an awful experience, where in the space of a week I had over 50% of parcels go missing, not collected or not delivered, they refused to do anything! I spoke to Rebecca Pulling the supervisor there, who kept saying she was ringing City Link, although I found out she never actually did, after I phoned City Link myself and explained my situation. I now have a direct account with them, and very very few problems since. This Rebecca Pulling, apparently asked the customer services director if I could speak to her, I remember her name was Sarah, and she refused to talk to me.

If you can't meet City Links minimum monthly quota, I would recommend Parcel 2 Go in the future, never had a problem with these in the past, very similar price. There is also Parcel Monkey, very cheap, but not the most reliable in collecting your parcel.

Am I incorrect in thinking this is not something you can blame on interparcel, since the decision would be made by the parcel carrier themselves.. and even if you move to parcel2go there is still the possibility of it happening again since they use the same carriers...................

I've had two items lost on the same day. Customer Services are a disgrace. Premium rate phone number and closed at the weekends. Not good at all. The two parcels have been lost for six weeks now and a refund was refused. Had to ask Barclaycard to give me a chargeback for the delivery service but compensation for the lost items? Still been refused. I use the couriers direct now instead of this terrible broker.
