Hi there.

Short time lurker / first time poster here.

I'm owed money by Angel Assist, (now being dealt with by HelpHire) more specifically its the 'scrap value' of my car - I was involved in an accident in 2008, and when it went to court it was found to be a 70% 30% fault split, in my favour. All costs pertaining to the case have been paid. Every time I contact these people they are not forthcoming with information and about a month ago even said a cheque was in the post. Of course it wasn't, and ive now had it with trying to pry anything from them over the phone. Im considering going to court / small claims over this, but according to HMCS this should be the last resort. Can anyone here inform me of anything else I can do to get them to act?

Thanks.

Thanks for the information.

I have a question though - this is more a personal than business issue as the money from this is 'personal' as it were and not tied up as i'm a sole trader, i'm not involved in a limited company. So this Thomas Higgins - do you know if they will operate for me or not?

I know I could ask them but I feel better asking here :)

Thanks.

I have called them this morning. The guy who answered the phone was unclear and unable to answer directly as their core business is for bad debts associated with businesses/sole traders.

However he did say if he had the full details he would be able to answer conclusively

So if you wish to try email him on [email protected]
