Private Pension for Ltd Company Workers?

Me and my spouse work together through our LTD company.

We are the only directors, split 50/50, and take a salary and dividends from the company. This is our only source of income.

Is it now law that we must have a pension (apart from state pension contributions)?

Can we sign up for separate pensions and pay a different amount into it each month or does it have to be a set amount? The business is young so its hard to know exactly how much is coming in each month.

Can previous pensions from past employment be rolled into this new pension?

I have done some Googling around but couldn't see anything similar to this situation.
