Printing your own business cards ??

You can buy sheets of blank perferated business cards on a sheet just like labels and set your printer up in the same way. Just try Google it. You might fingd hoever it is a false economy and they do look crap and the real thing aint that expensive anyway. Rob
I tried this and you're right, they look really cheap. Don't bother

as above..NEVER PRINT YOUR OWN BUSINESS CARDS..first rule of business really. if you do..they look rubbish, flimsy and as if they've been printed on a home printer because you couldn't be bothered to get a professional to do them. you will end up losing more money from lost sales than what you would do buying professional quality!

The only self printed cards worth doing are conqueror in my opinion, they have the ability to print on both sides, and double the weight with a fold in.

But, the price for business card is pretty cheap online, and not too hard to produce your own design and upload it; they generally accept PDF.

I wouldn't print my own cards, unless I was in the printing business! I think it's one of things where it might be cheaper if you DIY but first impressions count and this might not be such a good one. I had mine printed by www.pinksheepprint.co.uk. It was a very good print job. Speak to Dani as she may be able to do something for you on costs.

Good luck:)

I will be needing business cards and flyer's very soon,so the links that have been provided will be most useful.
Being handed a poorly designed, weak flimsy business card I should imagine is on par with receiving a clammy wet fish hand shake.
You get just one chance to make a professional impression.

I have just ordered 500 dual sided, full colour with front laminated for £49 +vat from printing.com

Have used them for flyers before and excellent quality and service.

These are printed in full colour on both sides on a thick 400gsm silk artboard. The artboard is 50% recycled and is FSC certified. The cards then have a hi-gloss lamination applied which really makes the colours stand out.

I don't earn anything from Printing.Com, but I give credit where it's due, and both myself and my customers are extremely impressed with the Business cards I received.

Speed of service, quality and Price. It would be very hard to move me from using them for future stationary requirements.
