Are those postcards 4 x1000 each? If you are only wanting 250 each you might be offered digital. If you do go digital you have to be very, very careful about artwork prep. for high quality results, and in my experience it isn't worth the bother as litho is only a bit dearer.

Also, the place I use, alocalprinter, is £75 for 1000 cards, and £80 for 2500, £85 for 5000. I find 2500 easy to use up. (300 digital cards are £51, not a real saving).

Just a thought. So, if you do go digi, ask the printer for exact tech specs especially for clean whites and rich blacks.
