Print quotes

Hi all,

I've been doing some design work for a client, and having recently added printing services, they have asked if I can beat a current quote they have gotten from another printer. So I said yes I'll give it my best shot, what's the quote? My jaw dropped lol

5000 x 300 GSM full colour double sided matt laminated business cards
5000 x 120 GSM colour letterheads
1000 x 120 GSM colour compliment slips
5000 x 250 GSM full colour double sided glossy A3 (to be folded to A4) brouchures

for £600. Am I right in thinking that is really cheap?? I had to tell him I definitely could not beat that, but I wondered if there is anyone out there who can? I'd be happy to refer the client to you

Not looked at it in detail but it doesn't seem super cheap.

I would charge nearly that for the A4 folders alone - grab it before he changes his mind.

Id like to know where they got the quote from China by any chance...

That's almost too good to be true - At a glance, I would say we would come in at approx £750, which until now I would say to be very reasonable!

If you are confident on quality then go for it - we could do it for around £782 - in most cases using higher grade stock - with free delivery

I'll find out where they got the quite from but it's a company they've used before. He mentioned he has a good relationship with them so gets wholesale prices. I think he should probably just go with them, I don't think I could find any cheaper for him!

Ha ha, i just added all those different products into a basket on our website www.printedeasy.com and it came out at £1,181!

And we are pretty cheap!

That price must be entirely digital, or from a company that is soon to go bust!

We can do everything, the letterheads, comps and business cards for £682. But that's without the 4pp brochures.

It alsmost definitely isn't digital as the quantities are too large to be cost effective.
