presta shop and pci compliance

Hi All

I have decided to use prestasshop on a hosting plan with vidahost. we have an account with worldpay(select junior) and with our currect hosted shop on epages pci compliance is easy as you get taken to the worldpay page at the checkout so the website is out of scope.

if i used prestashop with thier (expensive) worlpay module is there anything else i need to ensure pci compliance, i dont mind adding a ssl cert to the entire site if needed

That's exactly how our sites work. Doesn't mean you're out of the scope of PCI compliance though. Still used to cost us £40 a year. You've got a lot more to do id you process on site.

yes we still have to pay for trustwave to scan etc and i agress if we wanted to store carholder details then its lots of work which is why we dont
