Prepaid payment cards - recommendations ?

Hello,

I have just started as FD in a Ltd Company which runs several residential childrens' homes.

At the moment a member of staff calls into Head Office/Finance once per week to collect petty cash top-up in the form of actual, real cash.

I would like to move to a prepaid card system and wondered if anyone had any recommendations for prepaid debit cards. We're looking for as lower cost as possible, but with decent online access (so we can view balances and transactions remotely from Head Office).

Have you contacted your own bank for options? It is not something we do or have much experience with (other than them being used by some of our customers customers). There are quite a few deals on the various comparison websites that are worth reviewing.
