Because as soon as you travel outside the M25 people start having silly rural accents and are about 50 years behind all current trends and fashion.

If you wanted to sell turnips or something I could see some merrit in being elsewhere, but other than that London is the place to be.

)

See that is where I totally disagree, the London accents are awful for a start :) and just because a PR agency is next to a huge newspapers office does not mean they will ever go in!

London is also difficult to get to, driving there is crazy & transport is stressful. Not good business conditions.

London is abso chocko full of trendoid idiots with more money than sense, so it's logical that PR companies go where the pickings are easiest and best.
And, to be cruel, (to PR companies), if they are in London there are not only thicko clients prepared to pay way over the odds, but the local audience is so stoopid they'll believe any old twaddle.
Job done.
Large ones all round.

(Motto of London PR company: "There's one born every minute and I want them as my clients".)
