I was invited to view a demonstration webinar a couple of weeks ago and I must say that their offering is impressive.

Introductory Package Price*:

a) Free set up - great
b) Monthly fee - £20 per month plus VAT - average
c) Authorisation fees/authentication fees – good
d) Minimum billing - £10 per month - good
e) Transaction charge – 5.4% (ouch!! This would usually be between 1.8% and 2.5% if you had your own merchant account)
f) 30 day rolling contract – no tie ins - great, especially given the current economic climate.

We offer a free ecommerce website for all qualifying businesses. And our rates are very reasonable with the option of 30 day rolling contracts.

Can it be used without using their own merchant account?. Because that was what is giving me some concern, their charges in that area.
