You really are in the wrong job i think as you will have to meet clients at some point.

No one ever has to meet clients in his job if they don't want to.

Yes, this is going to put some people off and he won't get their business, but many won't care. Some will prefer it that way.

It comes down to his own personal choice about how he wants to run his business, really.

Warmly

Jon

Difficult one - I can appreciate your situation.

Have to agree with Tommo - if he is local then go for it. However if he is a long way away, then just advise (in a nice way) that you are web based and tend not to do face to face meetings. Most people will understand this from a web company.

It is always good to meet however, as it builds relationship and if there is the potential for more busienss from the client, this is worth going after (if they are local).

Hi, I know the original post is old, things have changed alot since then, spread the word to friends on facebook and you'll find someone, a mate of mine got his site done for a few hundred euro, it's basic but it works.
(greenhell clothing .com) is the name, google it and you'll see. there's alot of people out there talking website jargon, it's only pressing buttons at the end of the day. :)
