Posting to the Blog

Just want to clear up a few things im not sure about before posting too many posts to the forum blog section.

1..Can I have links to my own websites in the content or at the end?

2..Is the content indexed on Google?

3..Are there pre-determined categories I can post to or do I always have to create my own at the end of the blog post before I click to make the post live?

1. Yes, but all links are no follow

2. Yes, but mostly ignored (like most blogs these days)

3. No categories, it's just your blog.
