Postage Help

Hello. I currently have a small videogame shop but am planning to go e-commerce but I have no idea about posting.
I know you can not post everything at post office so what companies do you use and how does it work?
If you have any links to pages that will explain or any advice it will be a great help.

Visit the Royal Mail website, their is plenty of info on there.

Depending on how you sell your best bet is to start going to the post office first and then when busier set up an account with them.

I send nearly everything at the post office. a quick search online will also bring up couriers for larger orders which will collect from your address.

I remember when I used to take about 10 of those big sacks to the post office at Christmas times, used to be a nightmare.

You can always open an account with them and then get them to collect. However unless you are spending £15,000 a year with them the collection service costs £500 per year.

We send through our agent , they know which is the best sending way for different parcels to different address.

Post office is the way to go for items under 2kg, over this it is usally cheaper to use a delivery company (both consumer and business).
