Postage Cost International Shipping Insured

Can anyone help with finding cheaper postage options from the UK to Ireland.

I need to send items with a value of £2500 pounds insured, but delivery cost is anywhere from £130-£150 and upwards..

What sizes and volumes are you sending? If it's in standard courier/ postal service dimensions you should even be able to beat that price very easily on a price comparison site like Interparcel/ Parcel2go etc.

Its under 1KG and a small parcel size, i tried parcel2go also the prices I quoted were from there.
