Good Afternoon
I am looking at the possibility of setting up a US company. I cannot at this moment in time use a UK company due to this
"No UK Witnesses yet because of a legality question. As the Witness Agreement is a legally-binding document between ****** and the individual, lawyers have to verify whether or not said agreement is valid, applicable & enforceable outside of North America.
To date, they have not settled on an answer, and until that time, there will be no Witnesses approved outside of North America.
North American Witnesses are allowed to Witness books abroad though."
If i was to set up a US company and it was just me do you think that would negate the legality issues? Or do you think form that statement you have to be a resident?
What I am trying to get is if something goes wrong could they sue me in the US as I have a US company or because I am a UK resident they would find it very hard to....
