POSSIBLE SECURITY BREACH on laptop - error message?

Hello, for some reason i keep on getting the following message on my laptop; only started about 1 week ago;

the http is in red with a line going through it, it happens on all major websites like ebay/ paypal

do you think ive got a possible hacker on my laptop?

but thing is bought a new laptop and happens with that also

any advice would be very very much appreciated

yeah its been running fine for last yr i even bought a new one well 2nd and but guy used it twice and thats the same

do u think it is relayed to my internet connection?

ok im downloadin these, another thing, this morning the mouse started to move around on its own, like someone was controllin it, so i switched off and restarted then it stopped, do u think this laptop is coming to the end of its life?

its a cheap asus frm argos

Also when you experience these issues (you say this happens on 2 laptops from what I read) you have seen both events happening. Are you going directly to these websites using a email link, a bookmark, or direct entry into the URL bar by typing the actual web address?

Normally things like this indicate that your browser is warning you that a SSL certificate is not right on a site, or the site you think YOU are going to is not actually the Ebay site at all.

If the mouse is moving as you said, it means someone has access to your system. Either with your permission or not.

I think you should reformat or reinstall the operating system, change the password to your network, pc or upgrade your network router.

Or they may have just moved their hand across the mousepad and thought it was possessed! But if the original OP reads this thread again they might be able to enlighten everyone...

hello, i switched the computer on and off and it seems to be fine now, but the http error only comes up on ebay no other website, do you think i need to upgrade the security certificate?
