Hi,

looking to move hosting providers as have become fed-up with our current provider.

Having issues with the site this morning after our hosting provider migrated our site to a new server following a DDOS attack last week. This is the latest in a long line of issues we have expereinced.

So, how easy is it to move a site to a new provider ? (I have a recent backup from when everything was working ok)

We use DotNetNuke with Catalook so need Windows rather than Linux Hosting - traffic isn't massive with 10-15 unique visitors a day. Can anyone recommend a suitable hsoting provider who you have used and had good experience with ? (ie. low maintenance/downtime).

It's normally very easy to swap hosting providers.

We offer shared-hosting on latest Windows 2008R2 servers. We also offer a Managed Transfer service where we swap your sites and emails without downtime. Servers in UK and US.

We compete on quality over price so whilst not the cheapest on this forum you do get a high quality service tailored for UK business.

Please send me a PM if you would like a quote and more info.

All the best,

Rich

Personally, I recommend Vidahost

Having used many other hosts, I'm now sticking with these. (I was originally recommended to use them by others on this forum.)

Good price, great support, can't fault them.

Jeff

sorry - just re-read your post. My hosting with them is on Linux. Don't know if they do windows hosting

Thanks John, I will give vidahost a call and see if they do windows hosting which is compatible with DotNetNuke. Also noticed and interesting thread here: http://www.ukbusinessforums.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=83102 so will follow things on there for recommendations.

Thanks for all the above suggestions and will put them in the mix
