im looking into starting up a shutter business, im a tradesman, I've been self employed for 10 years based in the East Midlands and have found a few suppliers for the shutters, I really wanted some training on fitting the shutters professionally but no one does this? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

Why would anyone have a training course for such a simple operation, the firms who do the installation send out a new person with a experienced person until they are able to do it themselves
Nobody would ever earn any money running courses for things like this or similar say fixing garage doors, Hanging pictures installing new window frames its just something a decent tradesman or diy person should be able to do from the instructions, it does not appear to be rocket science

Really a simple operation? If you have ever done building work nothing is as simple or straight forward as it should be, walls are never square, sometimes tiled into returns or picture rails, fitting to bi folds etc. Are you a qualified tradesman? I've been self employed ceramic Tiler for 13 years I suppose that's another simple job? I'm sure I could fit them but bay windows, bi fold etc would be trickier plus the cost of them is thousands they are made to measure any mistake would be costly. I've contacted numerous shutter companies for advice but obviously they won't let you go out with fitters then leave and be competition.
